One thing I love about shooting in a studio is that you have complete control over the elements. Light, wind, etc. are all controllable, and that makes it that much easier to get awesome shots like these senior portraits I took for Jaqueline back in July.

December 13, 2010The Beach
November 22, 2010Been a busy year, and I’m finally catching up on blogging shoots from the past 6 months. Look for a lot more over the next few weeks.
This is probably one of my favorite shots I’ve taken this year.

Julie’s Senior Pictures
February 18, 2010For Julie’s senior pictures, we met up at Laclede’s Landing right at the riverfront early in the morning. I love shooting down there because of the beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets. In addition to all that, there was a ton of fog in the air which gave us the opportunity to get a look much different than a lot of the other senior pictures you see out there.

After getting a bunch of awesome shots down at the riverfront, we headed to Steinberg Ice Rink in Forest Park. Julie’s been an ice skater pretty much her whole life, so getting a few shots out on the ice was a no-brainer.

Julie Preview
January 24, 2010I had an awesome senior portrait session this past Monday. I’m almost finished editing the session, but I love this shot so much, I wanted to post it right away. Look for the full post later this week.
